Breaching Octopus

I was in a speedboat, filming a large, ruddy-backed GigaSquid approach the shore. As I filmed, however, I noticed some grey and blue blurs appearing infront of the camera. I zoomed out to find a pod of smaller swimming octopus jumping out of the water, following my boat like dolphins.
While their rearmost 2 arms were like that of a regular octopus, the other 6 were flat and fin-like.
